In the 2020-2021 academic year, in connection with the process of transformation of higher education in the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology was renamed the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology.The Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology has departments of "General Pedagogy", "Theoretical and Practical Psychology", "Special and social Pedagogy", "Preschool and primary education", "Physical culture and Sports", where highly qualified teachers work, including doctors of pedagogical Sciences, candidates, Doctors of PhD and Masters of Science.
During your studies, you can improve your skills in Kazakhstan and foreign universities through the academic mobility program. In addition, within the framework of the Two-degree Program, you can get a double diploma from the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University and Mississippi Valley State University (USA) in the following educational programs: 6B01101-Pedagogy and Psychology, 6B01201-Preschool education and upbringing, 6B01301-Pedagogy and methods of primary education, 7M01101-Preschool education and upbringing, 7M01101-Pedagogy and Psychology.
In addition, the Higher School has a "Center for Resource and Inclusive Education". It has offices for speech therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, specialists in physical therapy, as well as Montessori, sensorics and a lecture hall for students. The center has all the conditions for organizing the research work of students.
