      New Year greetings from the Rector of the university

      Dear colleagues! Dear friends!

      Let me congratulate everyone on the upcoming New Year 2023!

      2022 was a year of full changes and discoveries for our university.

      In particular, according to the National Institutional Ranking we entered the top ten universities, in the QSEECA international ranking in the category "Countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia" we entered the category of the 400 best higher education institutions in the region. Also, in this rating we took 41st place among the countries of Central Asia. According to the rating of an independent agency working to ensure the quality of education, we are among the leaders among pedagogical teacher training universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      In the 2021-2022 academic year, more than 3 thousand students enrolled in college, undergraduates, Masters and PhD programs. I would like to emphasize that the number of applicants who entered the teaching profession has increased several times.

      In 2022, the university retained its leading position both in the field of education and in the field of scientific research. In particular, 172 scientific conferences were organized at the university this year, 374 students took part in 22 scientific circles, and 574 students participated in research work. 31 student startup projects have been implemented.

      The teaching staff has published more than 1000 works in National and foreign publications. During this time, university scientists have published 18 scientific monographs. 21 certificates of protection and 4 patents were obtained.

      Also this year, our university celebrated creative, memorable evenings of well-known personalities in the country, well-known public figures who graduated the university.

      The plans and goals for the coming years are clear, the orientation is clear. I am sure that we will be able to conquer new heights with the help of the well-coordinated work of the institutions, staff and students of our university.
