    • Purpose: The staff of the center prepares students for future life by identifying clear boundaries of professional interaction between teachers, administration, young leaders and parents. Our psychologists provide a safe and confidential environment in which students themselves can investigate any problems that interfere with their health, mood, or learning outcomes.

      Tasks of the center:

      • Promote the development of personal characteristics of students: cognitive interests, abilities, inclinations;
      • Providing information programs related to psychological and physical health to the university community (including people with disabilities) ;
      • Individual counseling of students on psychological issues;
      • Assistance in organizing special needs, as well as needs for people with disabilities;
      • Assistance in organizing sports events, as well as physical culture and recreation events at the University;

      Directions of the center: 

      • Practical direction: organization and implementation of consulting and educational, Correctional, developmental work at the personal request of students and teachers of the university, parents.
      • Research areas: preparation and implementation of projects within the framework of the psychodiagnostic system complex.

      The work of mental health on the exchange of experience at the level of the Republic

      On November 26, 2022, the regular session of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences was held in offline and online formats. The President of the Academy, Academician of the Academy of Sciences A. Kusainov made a report on the topic "Ways to implement the improvement of the education of the conscious generation in schools from a scientific and practical point of view."

      On January 27, 2023, the presentation of the collection of the book "Urpak tarbiesindegi kundylyktar negizi" took place, the authors were presented with letters of thanks and a certificate of a full member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan.       On February 9-10 of this year, the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University hosted a Forum on Youth Socialization with the participation of vice-rectors of universities, psychologists, representatives of the Ministry and students.

      The forum was attended by the head of the Mental Health Development Center Salima Begassilyeva Askarkyzy, coach-psychologist Mussina Sara Smanovna, psychologist Toleugalieva Akbota Nurlanovna.

      During the event, representatives of Kaznatszhenpu told about the foundation of the Department of Personality Formation at the university, where the "Mental Health Center" operates, which is aimed at the comprehensive development of the personalities of university students. The center has taken a new approach to the principle of delegating responsibility: there are coaching psychologists, psychologists, theologians in the team.

      The experience of the Department's work on personality formation has aroused the high interest of representatives of other universities, and in this regard, the Department emphasizes its willingness to share experience and is open for cooperation.

                          

      On February 28, 2023, the Public Association of Psychologists "Oi Sana", in order to exchange experiences and give a lecture on the teacher improvement course, received a letter by special invitation – CMZ Kaznatszhenpu from the company "TCO" LLP. With the grant support of Tengizchevroil LLP in order to implement the project "Scientific and methodological support of inclusive education of teachers-specialists" in Atyrau region, Mangystau region and all districts.

      On May 24, 2023, at the invitation to participate in the forum of the Suleiman Demiril University for the purpose of the forum - to discuss the expediency of the work of the "Psychological Service" in higher educational institutions in the XXI century, to exchange experiences, to determine the place of the marketing field in the work of psychologists, to increase their potential, to find ways to provide psychological support to students.       On May 30, 2023, the head of the Mental Health Center Begasileva S.A., coach-psychologist Musina S. S., Toleugalieva A.N. psychologist of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University took part in the republican forum "Development of psychological service in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan" at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.

       The purpose of the forum is to develop the work of the Psychological Services sector in higher education institutions, exchange experience, increase the potential of psychologists, optimize the workflow of psychologists with students, as well as offer solutions to important social problems among young people.

                      

                      

      On May 30, 2023, the coach-psychologist of the Mental Health Center of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University G.B. Kyrkanbasov Took part in the republican forum "Generation Industry - National Wealth" at Aktobe Regional University named after Zhubanova.

      The purpose of the forum is to discuss and consider solutions to current problems of child abuse and create favorable conditions for creative interaction of psychologists, personal and professional growth.

       The Center for Health and Wellness gained experience in the master hours "Self-regulation Skills", which were designed to form a psychological culture in the education system.
