      Kazakh national women's teacher training university is rich in talented youth. Our students gain many achievements in the fields of science, education, sports and art. Aisha Rakisheva, 3rd-year student of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of our University, will take part in the XXXI World Winter Student Universiade among students, which takes place in the American city of Lake Placid.

      About 100 athletes will represent our country at the XXXI World Winter Universiade. They participate in competitions in ski mountaineering, short track, biathlon, figure skating, speed skating, snowboarding, alpine skiing, jumping from the podium, double skating, and ice hockey. Aisha Rakisheva, a student, the pride of our university participates among them.

                                                                                  

      The history of the Universiade Games dates back to 1924. Until 1959, they were known as the World University Games. Since 1959, they have been recognized as the Universiade.

      Rakisheva Aisha Viktorovna is a master of international sports in ski mountaineering. She has been involved in sports since the age of eleven, Aisha is among the fastest female athletes in skiing. She represented Kazakhstan at the Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland. She competed in sprint, group individual running, relay.

      In addition, being a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she became the bronze medalist of the Asian Championship in 2020 at the 1st winter game "Children of Asia" in Sakhalinsk, Russia. Also, Aisha is a multiple champion of Kazakhstan in ski mountaineering.

      At the international competition, which involves more than 11 thousand students from 43 countries, we hope that our student will stand on the podium of winners.
