    • QYZPU students travelled to sacred places in Kazakhstan

      The educational trip to sacred places was organised by the university administration to show and tell young people about the history and great personalities of the kazakh people.

      The trip started in Almaty on 27 August. The expedition lasted 5 days. The route covered three regions and four cities - these are Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkestan regions, Taldykorgan, Shymkent, Turkestan and Taraz. The travellers visited the mausoleums of the main heroes of the steppe legend of love - Karakhan and Aisha bibi, the cult place Tekturmas, the complex "Ancient City of Taraz", the mausoleums of Baidibek bi and Arystan bab, also the mausoleum on the tomb of the poet and famous sufi teacher Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, the mausoleum of  Domalak ana, the cave "Akmechet" and "Keruen Saray". And on the way back they visited Sak mounds. 

      The girls listened with interest to the stories of local historians about great personalities and sacral places. According to them, they learnt a lot of things they did not know before. Some were there for the first time. They were very impressed by the 5-day trip and expressed their gratitude to the university administration for the opportunity to travel to historical places of the country.
