      The University is organising a special 2-week intensive course for master's and doctoral students of the first year on "Effective methods of writing a scientific research".

      The aim of the course is to plan the research work of master's and doctoral students and to choose the right thesis topics according to the new format of thesis defence. The speaker of the course is Yedilbay Ospanov, a graduate of the Bolashak programme and author of "Academic Writing". He analyses in detail and explains to the participants of the course the subtleties of the main methods of conducting research at a scientific level. As a result of the course, masters and doctoral students will be assessed by writing a 2000-word essay on selected topics.

      A special intensive course on each stage of research work will also be organised in the future.Research work in the new format is a proposal for the timely defence of dissertations, approved by special stages of dissertation writing for master's and doctoral students. In particular, creating a theoretical and conceptual framework, writing a scientific rationale, collecting data and presenting one's proposals for the development of science and education in the field of research, etc.
