Professor Kuanyshkul Mendayakova passed away

  Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kuanyshkul Mendayakova passed away. She was 81 years old. Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Kanai on behalf of the staff and on her own behalf expresses deep and sincere condolences to the family of Kuanyshul Mendayakovna.

  Professor Kuanyshkul Mendayakova in 1961 entered the philological faculty of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute, specializing in "Kazakh language and literature and song" and in 1963 moved to the music and pedagogical faculty. In 1966 she graduated from this faculty with honors in singing and until 1973 worked as a teacher, senior teacher at the department of conducting the choir. From 1973 to 1989 she taught at the Department of Preschool Education. In 1988 she defended her candidate's thesis, in 1991 she received the academic title of associate professor. From 1989 to 2000 she was Dean of the Faculty of Music Pedagogy, from 2000 to 2008 she was Dean of the Preparatory Department for girls from large families without parental care. In 2008 she was appointed head of the department of professional orientation, pedagogical practice and employment of graduates. In 2010, she was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and in 2011 - the academic title of professor in the specialty of pedagogy. Until 2019, she held the position of Professor of the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education.

  Kuanyshkul Mendayakova was a scientist who conducted research on various areas of preschool education in the scale of the Republic of Kazakhstan, one of the founders of staff training in primary education and preschool education. Along with theoretical training of future specialists, she taught pedagogical skills. Also she is the author of 2 monographs, 2 manuals, 2 teaching aids, 2 standard programs and more than 50 scientific articles on the main directions of scientific research.

  She is the holder of the badge "Excellent Educator", the badge "Y. Altynsarin", awarded with the sign "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
