From words to deeds: Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University entered into negotiations with the University of Sussex to launch dual degree programs

Rector of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Kanai met with Vice Chancellor of the University of Sussex Robin Banerjee during her working visit to the UK. The parties discussed the launch of double-diploma master's and doctoral programs from 2024 academic year. The meeting was also attended by Zakir Zhumagulov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation.

Recall, earlier we reported that the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University plans to launch a dual degree program with the University of Sussex under a grant from the British Council.

This became possible thanks to the support of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of RK Sayasat Nurbek. It is on his initiative that the work on internationalization with higher education institutions of different countries of the world, which have significant experience, is being carried out in order to develop the systems of higher and pedagogical education in Kazakhstan.
