    • Qazpatent granted a certificate to QYZPU geographers for an electronic textbook

The National Institute of Intellectual Property issued a certificate to geography scientists of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University for the electronic textbook "Economic and Social Geography of Kazakhstan". Students and teachers are already actively using the new textbook, following a special link not only on computers and tablets, but also on smartphone screens.

The electronic textbook in Kazakh language was developed by acting associate professor, program leader Yerdaulet Tulegenov, holder of the medal "Veteran of Labor", candidate of geographical sciences, associate professor Nursipa Karmenova and senior teacher Makpal Toksabaeva.

The textbook includes only the most basic practical topics, such as the geography of Kazakhstan's population, fuel and energy complex, metallurgical complex, machine-building complex, chemical industry, light industry, and agro-industrial complex. Developers have updated all the information concerning the regions of Kazakhstan. That is, geographers added data on Abay, Zhetysu and Ulytau regions, thus presenting to the reader the entire map of 17 regions of the country.

Scientists have been working on the electronic textbook for about a year.

According to the first author of the book, Yerdaulet Tulegenov, the textbook "Economic and Social Geography of Kazakhstan" is useful not only for university students and teachers, but also for school graduates to prepare for the UNT.
