      According to the results of the FIS cross-country skiing competition in Finland, Aisha Rakisheva, a student of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, took 34th position in the sprint among the hundred best skiers from 19 countries. She covered the 1.4 km distance in 4 minutes and 2 seconds. Aisha Rakisheva was the only woman to represent Kazakhstan at this competition.

      She finished 41st in the 10 km classic race and 53rd in the speed skating race.

                                                                                   

      Around 300 athletes from 19 countries took part in the FIS races. The premier races of the Finnish FIS season in Muonio are known for attracting a large and solid international number of competitors. For many elite skiers these races are the most important indicator of results before the World Cup in Ruka and a good thermometer for the start of winter.

      As a reminder, elite skiers from various ski clubs and private teams also took part in the FIS events in Finland.
