QYZPU teachers are trained in modern trends in education

    • QYZPU teachers are trained in modern trends in education

Teachers at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University are taking a unique course, Modern Trends in Education, which helps them understand the most relevant sustainable development goals. As part of this course, teachers study various aspects of environmental education, respect for the environment and natural resources, as well as methods of efficient resource utilisation and big data management using artificial intelligence.

One of the main aspects of the course is environmental education. Teachers learn methods and approaches that will help them incorporate environmental stewardship into the classroom. They learn how to teach students about environmental responsibility, separate rubbish collection, efficient use of water resources, and other aspects that promote sustainability. Teachers are also learning about artificial intelligence and its application in education. They learn how to manage big data and extract valuable information from it, as well as how to automate complex processes and use resources more efficiently. The use of artificial intelligence in education offers new opportunities to personalise learning and create innovative teaching methods.

The course programme also includes the development of critical thinking. Teachers learn to analyse and evaluate information, solve complex problems and develop their creativity. Critical thinking is an integral part of teacher development as it helps teachers to adapt effectively to the rapidly changing demands of the educational environment.

This training allows teachers at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University to keep abreast of modern trends and innovations in education, as well as to develop their professional skills to achieve sustainable development goals and effectively implement sustainable development principles in their work.

According to Kamesh Khamzina, Head of the Centre for Professional Development, this course will help teachers at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University to become leaders in innovative education and contribute to the creation of a sustainable future. And upon its completion teachers will be awarded a certificate.
