       ALMATY. April 12. Press center – «Social Problems in Society and Ways to Solve Them». This was the title of an international meeting held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

      Scientists from universities and research organizations of Kazakhstan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan took part in the meeting.

      Bibigul Imanbekova, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines at the Women’s University, who noted the importance and significance of the event, opened the online seminar.

      During the meeting, Turgay Duyen, head of the department of the Institute for Eurasian Studies at Nyida Omer Halisdemir University in Turkey, made a presentation on "The World Pandemic and Its Impact on Social Life.

      In her speech, she spoke about the impact of the global epidemic on the life of humankind and social relations. In addition, the foreign scientist drew attention to the problem of containing the pandemic in Turkey, as well as the experience of other countries in combating the coronavirus. Turgay Duyen also dwelled on realized measures of social support and state measures.

      During the meeting, the head of the department of social work and public administration of the State Institute of Social Development and Entrepreneurship of Kyrgyzstan, Zhamila Suleymankulova, expressed her opinion on the theme "Types of social support and its implementation in action", Professor of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Mansiya Sadyrova "social values of youth in modern society", the main research officer of the Institute of philosophy, political science and religious studies Serik Nurmuratov "social environment and spiritual values".

      In addition, scientist from Narkhoz University Kulzada Abenova made the report on a theme "Role of case-manager in formation of professional competence of the social worker" and highlighted the actual problem arisen during epidemic.

      - There was a high demand for service professionals in society during the pandemic. It became known that the responsibility entrusted to the social worker, including assistance to the vulnerable segments of society, is enormous. In this regard, it was obvious the need to increase the professional competence of service professionals of society, - said Kulzada Abenova.

      At the end of the meeting, specialists and experts developed a special concept, noting that there is a shortage of specialists in social work in the country. At the same time, special attention was paid to increasing their number.
