ALMATY. May 1. Press center – Today is the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
The holiday was established by the Decree of the first President of Kazakhstan on October 18, 1995.
On this day we pay honor to our invaluable heritage – creative friendship of our citizens for the benefit of our dear land.
The nation’s unity and solidarity are the firm foundation of all our achievements and victories. We have become an honoured and strong state owing to mutual understanding of the country’s different ethnic groups, united in a single unit under the arches of the Kazakh shanyrak.
