ALMATY. June 9. Press center – In order to increase the immunity of citizens to coronavirus infection, the faculty and staff of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University have begun vaccinating.

The first of them the chairman of the board – the rector of the educational institution Gulmira Qanay supplied the vaccine «Sputnik-V» produced by Karaganda pharmaceutical plant.

The rector's condition after vaccination is good. No side effects occurred.

      – The head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev urged our compatriots to get vaccinated. This is the only way to protect yourself, your parents, and your loved ones. The head of state emphasized that it is a civic duty for all of us. I think that only by vaccinating and forming a collective immunity will the citizens of Kazakhstan be able to defeat the coronavirus. I am sure that only through vaccination will all restrictions be lifted, the population will return to normal life, and education will become an autonomous system, – said Gulmira Qanay.

The medical center of the Women's University is fully provided with vaccines. The vaccine construction is voluntary.

      – We feel responsible for others because of our line of work. That's why we decided to get vaccinated. We believe that for the health of students and teachers of the university everyone needs to get vaccinated. At the same time, the university staff should feel responsible and properly use the opportunities provided by the state, – said the university staff.
