• History of the department

  The department was created by the order of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University No. 168 dated August 28, 2004, entitled "Law and Economic Theory". Initially, the department was opened for the training of personnel in the specialty 5B011500 - "Fundamentals of Law and Economics" and the conduct of general subjects "Fundamentals of Law" and "Fundamentals of Economic Theory" in all specialties of the University. Since 2005-2006 academic year the department has started training of personnel in the specialty 5В051000 - "State and local administration".

  In 2009-2010 academic year, in connection with the transfer to the department of the specialty 5B050700 - "Management", the department was renamed to "Rights and Foundations of Management" by order No. 92 of August 25, 2009.

  In the 2020-2021 academic year, in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the University dated May 27, 2020 No. 09, the departments of “Economics and Business” and “Law and Fundamentals of Management” were merged into the Department of “Fundamentals of Law and Management”.

  Currently, the Department of " Law and Fundamentals of Management” within the Institute of Art and Management is engaged in training personnel in four educational programs:

  • 6В01405 - "Fundamentals of Law and Economics";
  • 6В04103 - "State and local government";
  • 6B04104 - " Accounting and audit”
  • 6B04101 - " Economy”

  And also the teaching staff of the department conduct classes in all specialties of the university on the discipline " Fundamentals of Economics and Entrepreneurship" and "Fundamentals of Legal Literacy and Anti-Corruption culture   ".
